Triquetra 250 page Traditional £84.95 Traditional methods of are used to make these books.  These are sewn bindings complete with headbands, ribbons and curved spines. We use the split board cover method this makes the bindings a lot tougher than single board covers. These are then covered in top quality leather. We do not buy pre-stained or finished leather, each piece of natural leather has been hand stained using my own special mixes over two coats then added to the cover parts. After painting the triquetra the Ancient types are antiqued over several coats using our aging technique. This book is replicating a book 100s of years old so we have spent a great deal of time making the book this way, on the ancients the colour changes depending on the light. The New type finish are waxed and finished without this process. They also have the 5-sash cord detail on the spine.  The Spine strips and corners on the back as well as front. Our Triquetra Book of Shadows are approx. 12" X 9" and contains approx 250 leaves creating 500 pages. This is smooth 100 GSM Pure white acid free recycled paper, so you are doing your bit for the planet too. Suitable for writing and drawing.
